CONCERTS AND MEETINGS.

By permission of Lieutenant-commanding I Allen., the city bands will render a programme of patriotic music at the Diincdin Naval Artillery camp at Forbury Park to-morrow afternoon at 3.30. The voluntary offerings of the public1 will be devoted to the fund for the equipment of the absent-minded beggars forminct the fourth contingent. The Naval Band will precede the above-mentioned programme with r few numbers, commencing at 2.30. A meeting of carters and expressmen will be held in the Zealandia Chambers this evening at 7.45 for the purpose of providing a horse for the contingent. The Dune-.lin Orchestral Society will hold a smoke concert in the Agricultural Hall on Thursday. 22nd. inst.. when the gross proceeds will be devoted in aid of " our boys." Tickets may be obtained from Messrs C. Begs; and Co., J. Mendelsohn, S. Jacobs, and the Dresden Company.
