These schoo's are certainly deserving of support m as far as they afford assistance to those for whom they were ong-inally intended, ■which, I ta.ke it, was for sons and daughters of tiadesmen who cannot aftord to provide a High School education, or for young men or women who ha\e to work for their living, I but aie anxious to impxove their education m the dnectiou necew-ary to assist them la their hade If my information is correct, I believe they a. c used by some attending the High School, and m one case e\ en by a manaeci for a busy ness firm in the city Should'there not be some lestriclion, oi an mciease of fees to make tho c who can afford pay a proper part of the co--t, instead of then drawing on the benefits of public subscriptions in this roundabout way—l am, etc., 1 Ju«e 15.
