In fact, all the bottom wash throughout, that lead was lifted by that means, and sometimes from a distance of nine ehams from the elevator. The vertical height lifted by tne- sucker to the elevator was as much as 25ft.vertical from that distance The principle is undoubtedly a good one where narrow leads or gutters have-to be dealt with — I any etc..
