Messrs Wright, Slephenson, and Co. report as follows:—On account of Mr-John Harty (of Green Island Bush) -vvlib lias leased his farm, we offered the whole of his dairy stock, horses, and farming p]ant v .Thore was a good muster of local settlers, and a satisfactory clearance of everything was.effected. For oovrs and heifers (close to profit) there was brisk competition, but dry cows only brought storo cattle prices. / Calving cows.liroughfc from £4 10b to £5 iti 6d, dry cows from £1 2s 6tl to £2 15s, spring cart horses from £13 to £19; oaten sheaves, potatoes, turnips, dairy, utensils, etc., full values.
