WEAK CHILDREN.
It is really very easy to understand why Scott's Emulsion has such a beneficial' effect upon babies and, children. There are no mysteries about Scott's Emulsion. It is simply the bast cod liver oil, the purest glycerine, and tho best hypophosphites of lime and soda,, made into a perfect emulsion. In this form these standard nutrients are easy on the digestive organs, and are absorbed almost without digestive effort. In addition to this, Scott's Emulsion is cleliciously palatable, and is readily taken by those to whom the plain oil is objectionable. Babies and children love the taste of Scott.? Emulsion, and look upon it as a sweetmeat. This makes its administration easy, and it is no exaggeration to say that there is no remedy in the world which is so effectual in making Bound bones, healthy flesh, and 'strong bodies in infancy or at any period of growth. When children do not thrive as their parents wish, even in spite of tender care and nursing, you will find that Scott's Emulsion is just what their systems need to insure a healthy development. We do not put' Scott's Emulsion before you as a "cure-all," but we have no hesitation in saying that it is a scientific preparation, in perfect accord with medical opinion, and your own family doctor can tell you both the formula from which it is made, and its nutritious properties. A letter from a- lady'about her little boy reads as follows: —
/ "About two years ago my little boy, then two years of age, became very ill, and nothing given him seemed to do him any good. A friend sent mo a bottle of Scott's Emulsion, which had very beneficial effects, so I procured a further supply, and am happy to state after .using three large bottles he got quite fat and strong, and I have had no trouble ">vith him since. Ido not think there is anything so good as is Scott's Emulsion for weakness and wasting.—Very truly yours (signed), MARY.K-ENOUF, 36 Campbell street, Balniain, Sydney, N.S.W./August 16, 1897."
