CHRONIC COUGHING.

Did it ever occur to you that chronic coughing is nearly always due to a weakened, exhausted state .which the system drifts into when it is unable to derive sufficient vitality from its supply of food? This theory of nourishment is an interesting one to study.' In tho treatment of disease nowadays the nourishment given to the patient is-of more importance than drugs. Doctors are frank to admit that drugs are secondary to the real requirements of Nature. Of all the foods employed by the medical profession to overcome wasting, and give vital liesh and strength to the body, none is so generally used as cod liver oil. In Scott's. Emulsion we have this oil in a palatable.form, and ready foi- quick absorption into the blood. We also have in Scott's Emulsion hypopnosphitos and glycerine, both of which facilitate, the absorption of the oil and help the system in many ways.
