THE DIRECT STEAMERS.
HOBART, April 15.—Arrived, early. Tokomaru. She sailed at 11 a.m. for Wellington. She brings two passengers for Australia, and 16 for Now Zealand ports. Tho following is the passenger list of the Wakamii, due at Wellington from London, on the jiOth inst.: —For Lyttelton—Miss King, Messrs W. Niven, .1. Ringland, L. Christie, H. E. Carey, R. Taylor. For Timaru—Mr .1. B." Dawson. For Port Chalmers—Mr and Mrs JEAdam, Messrs MAdam (2), and Master M'Adam.
The Gothic arrived at London on Friday. The. Delphic has sailed from London for Wellington.
The s.s. Napier, which put back on Friday, sailed again on Saturday night, for the south,
The s.s. Taupo sailed for Westport, via way ports, at lloon yesterday.
The Tyser liner Hawke's Bay is expected here on the 23rd inst.
Tho following vessels havo been in harbour during the week ending April 16 : —Arrivals— Napier, s_s., 48. tons (twice) : Tarawera, s.s., 1269 ,Te Anau, s.s., 1028; Taupo, s.s., 408 ; Mararoa, s.s., 1381; Talune, s.s., 1304; Ruahine, s.s., 6121. Total, 11,665 tons. Departures—Waikare, s.s., 1901 tons: Napier, s.s., 48 (twice); Elingamitc, s.s., 1675 ; Rimu, s.s., 143; Enterprise, brigantine, 84; Annie Hill, schooner, 121; Tarawera, cs., 1269 ;Te Anau, s.s., 1028: Taulbo, s.s., 408;' Orari, barque, 997. Total, 2192 tons.
The s.s. Mararoa, from Sydney, via Auckland, arrived at the tomnie wharf, at 7.45 a.m.
yesterday. Sho loft Sydney at 2 p.m. on tho 6th inst., arriving at Auckland al 7 a.m. on the 10th. Called at Gisborne 011 the 12th, Napier 13th, Wellington 14th, and LylUdtoii 151h, arriving as above. Experienced fine wen ther to Napier, thence head wind anol sea lo arrival.
Tlio s.r. Talune, from Sydney, via Wellington, arrived at Iho tongue wharf at 9.50 a.m. yesterday. She lefl Sydney nt 0.20 a.m. of the oth inst., reaching- Wellington at noon on the 13th. Left again at 1.16 a.m. on tlio 14th, with 132 packages 'Frisco mail on hoard, arriving at Lyttelton at 4.45 p.m. nn tho 14th , sailed again at 1.45 p.m. on the 15th, arriving as above. Experienced smooth sea and fine weather till making the laud, bill was detained several hours in Cook Strait owing to thick, dirty weather. Had fresh southerly wind and sou down the coast.
The s.s. Mapoutika was floated out of Iho graving dock on .Saturday.
Tho s.r. Ruahino is lauding her cargo in capital order at the George slrcet pier. Tho s.s. Rimu passed the heads yesterday forenoon, bound north.
