WELLINGTON, April 13.

The Gazette notifies that " The Divorce Act, 1898," has been assented to by Her Majesty.

An Order-in-Counoil prohibiting the export of rock, shore drift, or mangrove oysters is gazetted. By an Order-fn-Council sponges and sponge beds are made subject to sections 18 to 22 of "The Sea Fisheries Act, 1894."

Messrs Henderson and Nicolls are gazetted members of the Onma.ru Harbour iioard.

The Government offices throughout New Zealand will be closed on Monday, 24th April, in celebration of St. George's Day, which falls on Sunday, the 23rd ""inst.
