LAND BOARD.
The meeting of the Landßoa'rdon Wednesday was attended' by Messrs J. P. Maitland (chief commissioner), Dallas, Duncan, Clark, and. Kirkpatrick.
Ranger Hughan forwarded a report upon seotions 13, 14, 15, and,.l7, block jVTI, Table Hill district.—To be /Coffered at auction with valuation fcr improvements reduced to £60, rental same as before. Frank Thomson applied for a license to occupy Runs 337 and 337 a, Wanaka.—License granted for three years from lst March at rental of £5 per run. Messrs Lee and Grave, on behalf of J. I. Mitchell, wrote in regard to a water supply for section held by him on Tokarahi estate.—Received, the board having no power to comply with request. • .The following applications were approved: For rural land on 0.R.P.: George M'Lachie, section 25, block XIV, __,mv; Hugh Cameron, section 22, block VII, Tuapeka East district. For rural land on L.I.P. Chas. Henry Koch, sections 4, 5, 10, block I, UpperJVVakatipu district. To transfer L.1.P., .deputy "official assignee, in tho estate of Thomas Corcoran to Jas. Fallon, allotment 68, Ardgowau estate. To transfer perpetual lease, section 10, block IV, Lauder, Mrs Elizabeth Wilson to John Wilson. For occupation lease: Francis George Buchanan, 40 acres, Carson's ■ Creek, block XVIII, Crookston district. For 10. R.P. 3361: J; T. Moir, section 8, block XV, Woodland. The Receiver, of Land Revenue forwarded lists of the'following holders of pastoral licenses in arrears with rent due lst March i last:—Julia Cameron, Silver Peak; Claus Mnllei, Table Hill Maben and Mitchell, Wanaka; John Lpughlin, Teviot; Thos. Neville, Ophir; Sutherland and' M'Quade, Maruwenua; P. A. Vyner, Lumsden; and Charles Paterson, Middlemarch. , The following applied for time for removal of stock from their holdings in the event of .not again securing their leases. Id days being-al-lowed-'in each: case:—G. A. Sutherland, Nenthorn; Duncan M'Rae, Strath-Taieri; Thomas Mawhinney, Blackstohe.—Consideration deferred. A letter ffqm- J; F. Rowland in regard to Californian thistle, on se._tiqr__sjls, 16, 17, Tear eraki settlement, was received. W. F. Henderson-applied fora further reduction of capital value of section 25, block VIII, Catlins.—Declined.. • An application by Thos. H. Pugh to, surrender O.R.P. 106; sectioh>6,, block VIII, Woodland, .was. referred to Sanger Hughan for report; also a similar application by William Bnroule,-.section 38, block,Vl; Glenomaru.
