Colonist No. B.—We have looked up the re- .. port of the Premier's speech at Christchurch, ahtl Find that he made the following reference to the Subjoct:—"A distinguished Canadian, referring to the New.Zoaland Old-age Pensions Act, had stated that it would prevent the overcrowding of the lunatic asylums with Xiersons only suffering from senile decay. Aged couples would be able to live together in their old age."'- The criticism, of the Premier for merely quoting the remark of another person is therefore oiit of. place.
