The Proprietors' of the Otago' Daily Times aud Witness beg to announce that a -Prize Tale Competition on the •'_ame'.lines'as that of last year willxi.be held iii connection with their Christmas (Annual, to be published, at the end of the current year. : : • The Tales will again be profusely illustrated, a fact which necessitates the MS', being in'our hands somewhat earlier than would otherwise be necessary. The illustrating will be placed in competent hands, and- as the-,w_iol_ issiic will be printed on super-calendar 'papen this feature of the Christmas Animal may, again be looked forward to as one of special intci-'est.
