Under date, New Xork, March 18, Messrs 'fi. W. Pea body and Co. report:—Australian freights continue at low rates for both steam and sail, that for Melbourne and Sydney being 15.3, and primage New Zealand freights (all ports) is quoted at the nominal rate of 15s, and primage for both sail and steam. The Tyser line will despatch. Ardandcarg on March 21. The F.S. aud A.S.S. Company advertise the s.s. -Knight' Temple ("1331 tons) for New Zealand ports, direct, lo sail about April 30. The s.s. Denton Gi.uu.e. foi Australian ports, sails abbiil March 30. The harque Grace Deering will be despatched about April 15 for Dunedin and Auckland.
