HARMSTON'S CIRCUS.
From all points oi view Harniston's"Circus i» an admirable 'combination,;and the. public of Dunedin, recognising tiie merits of the show, aro freely patronising it. Last night's houso w.is a very large and most .enthusiastic: one, and the performance went from first-to' last with the utmost measure of .success. Where.all the feats were received with all-round approbation it is difficult-to single out any one for special remark, but it is, perhaps.not too much to say that the doublo jockey-act of F. Harmston and G. Eldred, and the Eisley act-by Hiikata and Kola were wntohed-with very £lose attention, and the trapeze work by Miss Kul*y Scarsdalo proved an oxciting and, at the same time, a delightful performance, the lady acquitting herself of her perilous1 undertaking with the. greatest case aud grace., The flip-flap riding of Miss Montgomery also calls for mention., Tha clowns and the donkey riding wore heartily enjoyed by the young people; '; ;; ' ' A matinee performance will be given to-day at half-past 2 o'clock,Vand this evening -last night'a excollent programme will be repeated.
