PORT CHALMERS DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL'S SPORTS.
The ninth annual sports of the Port Chalmers District High School, which had to be postponed from Wednesday on account of the heavy rain, were continued on Thursday afternoon. The weather was simply perfect, and what with the gay bunting, the happy faces of the youngsters, and the big attendance of interested paronts and friends, the " rec." was. quit's "en fete. Master J. Porteous and the committee of boys had all arrangements made for the comfort of patrons and the punctual carrying out of the events. Mr ■Matheson, whose starting left nothing, to be desired,'was ably assisted by Messrs Finlaysoh and Gray. Messrs Bennie and M'Lymont acted as judges. Appended are the results: —

In our report of the St. Cluir School the names of those who received prizes for French were omitted from tho prize-list. The following are the names:—Class X: Mary Hancock. Class II: Beatrice Hancock and Jessie Pope. Class III: Vivian Fisher. Clnss IV: Loftus Rea 1, E. M'Kay 2, M. M'Kay 3. Mr Thornton's name was also omitted "from the list of donors of prizes. .
