INTERCOLONIAL MARKETS.
TO THR EDITOR. Sic, —Perhaps it may not be out of place to point out to those interested that oven if a severe drought reduces the anticipated yield of wheat in Victoria and New South Wales of 18 bushels to the acre down to 10 bushels, there must still be a large surplus for export. In the Melbourne Argus of the 14th and 15th October I notice that Californian flour is offered in Sydney in ship's slings at £7 10s per ton, and yet there are no buyers bold enough to purchase at that price.—l am, etc., October 24.
