The present hawse-pipes wiil be replaced by others of new material. The machinery will be thoroughly attended to m all its parts. The alterations and repairs to the s.s. Ohau at 'Wellington were completed last week. She has therefore came off the patent slip, and sailed on Tuesday for Westport. The Daily Shipping News, Sydney, states that the barque Uoris, Captain Robertson, now discharging at Dunedin, has been chartered to load coal at Newcastle for a port on the south-west coast of South America.
