Ten arc in abeyance, owing to the notice: . for removal having been forwarded to the owner ;in England. The City Surveyor and-Inspector of Nuisances have been instructed to report • further as to tho remaining three, as well as to' t^he six requiring repair. Thevcommittee has.received- a letter from'the Dunodin and Suburban Dairymen's Association, with regard to the inspection of "all" dames supplying" milk'To'The •city and suburbs, and resolved to coirmmnicate with the suburban councils, 'inviting their cooperation in securing a regular periodical in-" • spection, the cost to.. be. borne, half by the city, . an-il the^other, half apportioned between the sil- • burlian councils."
