TheArchbishop of Canterbury severely censured the extravagance diepluyed in connection with the services at these churches. Ho said that be bad himself been collecting evidence on the matter. ,■'.•:' Mr KeM.it is the leader of the anti-Ritaal-istic party, who for some time past have been opanly protesting against the ritualistic! practice at St. Mark's, Marylebone, and St. Ethel and Bnrgas Churches. . In some cases the opposition wao so demonstrative that the police had to bo called in. Recently, on the application of the people's warden of: St. Mark's, London, the Consistory Court issued an order against the vicar to cease his ritualistic practices.
