Mr Reeves reports a return from the Enterprise dredge of 230z 19dwt 13gr for laßt week. The Dunedin Stock Exchange report the following returns for last week :—Otago Dredging Company, 340z ; Golden Gate Dredging Oomptny, 19oz 16dwt; Goldea Treasure Dredging Company, 16oz (tni' five days). The secretary of the Clyde Dredging Company (Limited) reports a yield of 320z for last week. The river is sft above the normal maik on the Alexandra bridge ; this is slightly lower than it lias beeD for some time past. MrS. E. Brent, acting secretary for the Shotover Quartz Mining Company (No Liability); informs us that the shares have been overapplied for. This company was formed to acquire* and work the property which lately belonged to the Gallant Tipperary Quartz Mining Oomnany in the Shotover district. The capital is d£fii!oo, in 24,000 shares of 5s each, of which J2.000 shares, paid-up to 2s 6d each, were allotted 1o the vendors in full payment for the special claim, battery, <fee. The Roxburgh dredge has changed hands, six local repidents having bought it at the price of For the present it will be kept on the ground where it now is, but will ultimately Dt shifted to the old ground south of Roxburgh.' ' The Dunstan Times reports that the Molyneux hydraulic dredge for the week ending the 23rd inst. obtained 220z ldwt 4gr; value i'S5 18s sd. The Kyeburn dredge at Naseby is reported to be doing fairly well for a start. It is credited with having got close on 30oz for a week's work.
