The' investigation of the charge of murder/ •gainst Paneri Tawera was resumed this morning, when the medical' evideuce was tiken. Dr Laing expressed the opinion that the treatment; to which Eapua said lie had been subjected would accelerate death. In no case would pressure bo advioable. It would cause pain, and might rupture certain intestinal vessels. He approved of the diet said to have been given. The case was adjourned till Monday.
