CRIMINAL CALENDAR.
The quarterly criminal sessions of the Supreme Court will open on Monday. The list is a heavy one, comprising the names of 15 persons who are charged with 21 offences, as follows:—. Charles Stuart, alias William Storey, forgery and utteiing (two cba-ges), Dunedin. William Simpson, forgery (two charges), and : attempting to use a forged cheque (three charges), I Lawrence. I Patrick M'Callion and James H'Guire, assault ! with intent to rob, Duuedia. Samuel Mercer, attempting to do bodily harm, Dunedia. James Cooper and Thomas Chatterley, unlawfully pledging goods. Dunedin. Dorothy King, theft from the person, Dunedin. Arthur Ponton, theft, Duuertin. Charley Luck Chang, woundins, Blacks.
