Tbe South Australians' second innings closed for 442. Jarvis increased his score to 154-. Noble took four wickets for, 164, and Newell Wo for 37. In their second/inuings the New South Wales team completely collapsed, and were all dismissed for 126, the southern colony thus winning by 295 runs. Noble made 38, and Coningham 24. Joues secured five wickets for 62, and Evans four for 62.

A Brisbane cable states that owing to tain the match between Stoddart's tnam and a combined eleven of Victoria and Queensland has been abandoned.

j _ The vacancy in the Otago team caused by Johnston's inability to go to Christchurch has been filled by Webb. The team now consists of, the fallowing players :—Broad, Austin, Hope, Harkuesn, Logins (Carisbrook), Downes, Baker, Haydon (Grange), Clarke, Kin vie (Dunedin), and Webb (Opoho). The match Albion v.
