The officers of the Egyptian Army have advised that 12,000 troops will be required for the Anglo-Egyptian campaign in the Soudan.
Six hundred Askaris tribesmen bav3 joined the Egyptian garrison sent to invest Kassala upon its recession by Italy to Egypt.
