■gin,—l have just received a copy of a small pamphlet purporting to bo a defence of the sale of Bushy Pftrk ostar.e, by Mr William Froser, M.H.R. for Wokatipu. Now, Sir, as I reside in the vicinity of Bushy Park, and in close proximity to the river, it will be allowed that I ought to know when the river is in fl'iod. aud I raost emphnticully state there was no flood in the Shag River laet year; and in the BFcond plaifi there was no crop on the low laud of Bushy Park last year, co it could not have been wa»hod away.
