RO3LYN ASSOCIATION CLUB
The annual meeting of the Roslyn Association Football Club waa held in the Council Chambers. Mr L, Kuranitz (vice-president) occupied tho chair, aad there was a fair attendance. The annual report set forth that there wag an iDcreise in thq metaberßhip of nino during rJffl- / rhei:e was a credit balance in hand ot £3 10s 4d. The First Eleven were succassful in securing the charity banner for fche second Lime and the premiership for the. fourth euce'es»™se*s.on.- The record wan-lg games won, with 59 goals for and * against. The Second v.even also did very well, playing 10 matches, winuiag 7 and losing 2, while 1 was drawn. Ihe score was-33 goals for and 1* aga.ust. The olub had «ix representatives in tne annual tournament hold in Dunedln—viz P. and D M'Millan, W. Bunting. W. Watson, J.. ii Arlidge, and the captain (G. McMillan), who also captained the representative tsam. la the five a-side tournamant the No. 2 team were second in the final. The aunual social was held i« St. John's Schoolroom, and was successfully carri-d cut. Mr J. Early, of VVakari, had again very kindly placed a portion ot his ground at the disposal of the club for the ensuing season. During thesenson the club had ! cue uso of Mr Bunting's buildings.
