And there were a good few in the city who leffc about the same time and for the same reason. Now, are all those ~name3 included in the 400? There were also a good number who resigned a while ago with Mrs Don. Are these still on the roll as part of the 400? Can anybody tell? There were many who never paid but the one subscription at the commencement, and considered the nonpayment sufficient evidence that they ceased to belong to the league. But as Mrs Hatton does not strike off names for non-payment, may it be assumed that these also are part of the 400 ? Are there 200 bona fide members on that roll ? Are there 100 ? Kept in suoh a manner, can it "H be regarded as anything but a bogus roll for a big show ?—I am one who lores to defend February 16. Truth.
