CHARITABLE AID BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the Charitable Aid Board, held yesterday afternoon, was attended by Messrs J. Eobin (chairman), W. Snow, H Clark, C. Fisher, D. H. Hastings, P. Miller] A. C. Begg, and T. Scott. Mr Green wrote apologising for his non-attendance, owing to illness. THE BENEVOLENT TKUSTEES. The Chairman said he had paid the Benevolent Trustees' monthly account, amounting to £916 13s 4d. F. Hardy be appointed a member of the board in place of Mr Morrison (deceased); Mr Hastings moved the following motion notice of which he had given :—'• That a subcommittee consisting of the chairman, Messrs Chisholm, Begg, and the mover be appointed to confer with a similar gab-committee of the Hospital Board with reference to the investment of the Campbell trust moneys."—After discussion the motion was adjourned for a month, the chairman in the meantime to make necessary inquiries. .
