Souness was on his rig,it hand side, and witness carried a small cane. Witness did not strike King with theßticfc.-To Mr Chapman : Witness never touched King, and he was nnt awira that ha had injured the bicycle. He might have had a lew glasses of drink that day.-Andrew bouhess depose! that be was with the last witness going to Henley on January 23, andhe saw two cyclists approaching them. They passed close to Palmer, and he swung himself round as if he wire stalled, audpl.t out his stick. One of the cyclists Was about 2ft away from Palmer. AfterPalmei-ant out his stick thfc other cyclist came up and snid, " I'll make you p ay fnr th.s What is your name?"
