The circular from ! the Education Board enjoining teachers to refrain as far as possible from taking part actively or publicly in political affairs was received without discussion. At a special meeting of the Albany street School Committse la3t night, at which all the members were present, the secretary reported that arrangements were bein/j satisfactorily carried one in connection with the picnic at Paketerabi on Tuesday, the lG:h inst., the special train for which will leave the Pelichet I Buy railway station at 9 a.m. The secretary's 1 action ;n postponing the opening of the school I till Monday, the 15bh inst., was approved of j unanimously. !
