THE NEW ZEALAND RIFLE ASSOCIATION MEETING.
A Welliugton telegram says that the shooting men are dissatisfied with the reduction of fares offered by the Union Company, and intend to ask the Government to put on a steamer to take the local and southern competitors on to Auckland. A later message says :—" The Governmeut have no available steamer to take the riflemen to Auckland, as the Hinemoa is dismantled and the Tutanekai is away. If the latter returns in time she may be laid on, but that is not likely."
