I THE SEAMEN'S DEMANDS. ! The adjourned meeting of. the Board .-•? Coi»- ---:■ ciliation was held in the Supreme Court at 3 I o'clock yesterday afternoon. All the members of I the board were present—namely, Messrs W. A !?J'?r < 1 ? re?i a?nt)' G- P- Farquhar, J. A. Millar, : M.ti.11., G. L. Sise, aud H. Ferguson. I Mr Belcher, the Recretary and representative i.f I the beamen s Union, and Messrs James Mills I (managing director of the Union Steam ■ Ship -! '-'ompany) and Mr Koith Ramsay were also in ; attendaace. ! After conference and consultation amongst the ; members of the board and the parties to the dispute extending over half an hour, .j Mr Sim said There is a prospect of anarransej inent being come to between the parties, and so tiie board haa determined to adjourn until 3 0 dock on Monday afternoon. Xhe board adjourned accordingly.
