The annual meeting of. the Ofc&go L&wo Tennis Clabwaß held on Thursday afternoon in j the Cinb's Pavilion, Cumbetlaod street, Mr A. A. Finch, the retiring president, being in the ) chair. There was a Isrge attendance of members' present. ANNUAL HEPOHT. The following report vraj submitted and I adopted : — ' ■ ' In presenting their report and balance sheet for the past sea-ou your ciimmirtv.e ore pWsed to be 1 able to congratulate tha club on having had a i fairly successful season, ansmcially snd otherwise. ■ The membership roll numbers 10i)> of whom 50 are i gentlemen, 40 ladie.-, and 10 honorary ; whila four ! visitors to tha town availed themselves of the ; rule which accords visitors the privileges of the i club on payment of a monthly subscription. The club played several interclub matches'it» town with varying success, but owing to the inclemency ot '. the weather was unable to meet its -country i engagements. A team,. from this provincial district went to Caristnhurch forth'! mterpro- , vincul tournament last Bast-Mr. The majority of ! this team was composed ot the club's numbers, : but although the trip seems to have been heartily i enjoyed by your representatives, and they J succeeded in winning srrme sec,, the result which i ; was decided on the games, was very much against Otago The results of the club's annual fcourn*- ' ment were as follows :—Mer/a Championship !
