iKYnncAuaiLL, September 13. Messrs W. T. Hall snd A. C. Henderson, olioitora for Dr Leslie Aichby, alias Maurinus •Vieisbourg, have served a writ on Sergeant Aacdonell, of this town, claiming ' £100 lamages for wrongfully and illegally imprison, ng the plaintiff in a polies cell at the police amp and refusing to let him consult with his olieitor except through tha barred opening in • ho cell door; and a further £100 damages fot ißianlt .by_deprivin£ -him of ■ portions of» his lothing, including a collar, necktie, braces, birt, studs, rings, sad -eyeglasses,- &c., and ompelling him in ttiM condition to be taken nto the police office and be confronted by Mrs Ischby, his late housekeeper.
