The Age status that a gravo scandal hai been discovered in connection with thi Postal department.- Certain stamps wen withdrawn from use some time ago, am those remaining in existence rose to a pre mium in the estimation of stamp oollecccrs Sheets nominally worth £9 sold for £40, bu afterwardß sheets were offered freely at| j much lower rate. Inquiry showed, that ce| tain officers of the Postal department hav< been trafficking in these stamps. Two wen suspended, and an inquiry is now proceeding
