Sne wa3 at ccc removed to the hospital, bat died at 5 pa. She was 28 years of age. Charles Hillary P»rker, commission agqfc and bailiff for mauy years in Christchurch, »\s fouud dead in his office at 8 15 a.m. to-dr, apparently poisoned by himself. No traces f poison were discovered about the place, bi portion of an orange was found in which lies supposed to have taken the poison. In bj pocket was a latter addressed to his wif, which stated that "this is the feest and onl -' thing for me; I am mad," It was signt "Hillary."
