FLOOD AT BLENHEIM.
(Pbk United Press Association.) Welmnoton, September *-. Telegrams received bere state that the most tevere floods for 20 years hava been experienced ;it Blenheim. A her.ty southerly rain caused fche Taylor Rivet to flood, and the town has been under water sines, and' likely to remain so for soinedays. Telegraphiccommanicationis greatly interrupted, and the railway embankment is broken through in ona or two places, and the vraier flooded the surrounding country. * The extent of the damage is not known. , : Blknheim, September "i.
