The Corporation Solicitors (Messrs Bathgate and Woodbotue) wrote that on August 14 they had received notice that, the plaintifi in the case Law v. the BJornington Council had discontinued action, therefore an early application would bs made to the registrar to settle costs. In the notice the plaintifi intimated the abandonment of the order restraining the corporation from interfering with the bank, and the ; writers would consider whether they should not have this formally rescinded. —Received. He was Agreeable to the road being widened from Osborae terrace to within half a chain of the gate when the matter could be further considered.—Adopted. WEST HARTSOUR.
