TSS CITY. A Bitting of the City Assessment Court was held yesterday, before Mr B. H. Caiew, S.M. Mr Sinclair appeared for the corporation, aud | the following cases were deelt with :— Francis Gaffany objected to the valuation o] £24 on sections SjUndM, block XXX.-lleduced by consent to j£lG. ' Arthur Fieldwick objected to the rateable value of MS on part section 57, block XlX.—lleducfd by consent to £30. - . ■ . Andrew Todd objected to the rateablo value of £1000 on the office and warehouse, sections 1, 2, 21 and 22,.b10ck XLVll.—Reduced by consent to £100. Thomas Shepherd Culling objected to the rateable valne of £3>!o on the office and warehouse, section 8, block XLfll.—Reduced by consent to £2."0. ■ ■ . • James Smith objected to the rateable value of £40 on his house, part section 11, block VII.— Disallowed. > ■ ,
Willinm Kennedy objected to the rateable valuo of £16 on sections il and 42, block XXXII.— Disallowed.
Kobert Thompson objected to the rateable v»lu» cf £36' on his house, section 72, block XXVIL— Disallowed; sot lodged in time. ......
