DUNEDIN CITY MISSION.
Those of our readers who are interested in this undenominational movement trill ieuru with satisfaction that there are already indications in many quarters, aat only of a measure of success, but of kindly sympathy and support. The following gentlemea compose what msy be termed the execative—viz.: Messrs Geo. M. Thomson, Win. Coull, Pater Bare, Wm. Hutchison, J. W. Jago, Dmifii Booth, H. E. Sbieklcck, John A. D. Ad«ns, James P. Simon, and Captain Thomson. The following ladies are associated with the executive in furthering tbe interests of the mission—viz.: Mrs J. A. D. Adims, Mrs Tnoi. Artiiur, Mrs John Anderson, Mrs Boot, Mrs R. Biackadder, Mrs Johnstons, Mrs Gordon MacdoosM. and Miss Paterson, wish power to add to their nnmbar. Mr Shacklock has been elected to the office of president, Mr J. A. D. Adams acts in the meantime as hon. treasurer, and, Mr Duncan Wright his baen chosen to act as secretary as well as miasiousry to the movement. It may be remembered that Mr Wright came from Scotland in 187^ as n:.H»ionary to Knox Church, bo that he is not nuw to the work. , The executive, bespeak the sympathy of the people on* behalf of the movement;.
