Sin,—ln your issue of the 17th a correspondent signing himself " Liberal" asks BishoJ) Nevill to be good enough to define elasn legislation and mention any one statute passed within the last five years that comes under his definition. I beg to call his attention to your iosue of the 18th (page 2, column 4). and he will see what the council of the Chamber of Commerce has to s&y of this.Government and of New Zealand's class legislation, and we need not go so far bscic as five years.—l are, &«., Maori Hill, March 18.
