In7bkcargill, March 16.
~ On Sunday morning the house of Charles Church, Longbush, was burned with its contents. The insurance is unknown, bat it is said it will nearly cover the loss. Another account states that Church lost a considerable gam of money. A house belonging to Charles Kidd, a settlor at Hokonui, was burned on Friday last, but no particulars are to hand.
A six-roomed house' in Hawthorn road, North-east "Valley, was completely destroyed by fires about 2 a.m. yesterday. : The house was occupied by Captain Bell. No particulars have been ascertained regarding the insurance*, if any.
