A RICH CLAIM.
A Bsauraont corraapondetit writes :— " The Golden Gate, a new dredge put on the Molyusux pome two : months ,&%<>, a few miles above the Beaumont bridge, i^eraged for the first few weeks 40jz, last week over 80on, and the owners expect more this one. After this dredging about the Beaumont is bound to go ahead, and the private jiarties who have secured the river here should Lave no difficulty in getting dredges put on their claim?, which have all been surveyed."

Out- Cromwell correspondent telegraphed yesterday as follows :—" The Bannockbnru dredgo has bottomed at .Cornish Beach and has struck good coarse gold. .It is reported that the stuff is running two or three pennyweights per bucket."
