1 Invkrcahgili., January 28. A fire broke out shortly after midnight in the Temple Chambers, J3sk street. Mr W. Smith's (printer) plant was damaged to the extent of about £600. It was insured in the South Britiih for £425, and in the Standard for £420. W. Hall's ironmongery stock was. seriously damaged by fire and water. Mr Hall's stock was insured for £1000 in the Commercial Union, and for £500 in the New Zealand. His losb amounts to over £1000. The building was insured for £2500, but the damage to it does not amount to more than £300.
