The wife of a local builder and contractor died early in the week, and the'body .was buried yesterday in a bed of concrete at Karori Cemetery.- Thegraye wns dug aboat Bin larger and deeper than usual, and a thick layer of concseta pot down on tie bottom, on to which the coffin was lowered. After the burial servics had been .read the concrete was filled in all toned and on top, thus making one solid block of atone with the coffin resting in the centre.
