THE HOROWHENUA BLOCK.

(Per United Press Association.) Wellington, August 27. Another phase of the Horowhenua'Block was before the Supreme Court to-day. In 1874 after a tribal row Sir Donald M'Lean,;then Native Minister, visited the locality and held meetings' of Natives, and eventoaliy arranged with Major'Kemp that the Muaupoko should give up 1300 acres of land near.
