THE MEDICAL CONGRESS.

A deputation consisting of Drs Batehelor, Lindo Ferguson, and Cahill waited upon the Tremier this morning to ask for railway concessions to the medical men who sre to represent the various parts of the colony at the Medical Congress to be held in Danedia in February next. The deputation also asked if the Government would be prepared to take in. hand the printing of the transactions. This they pointed out had been done by the Governments of the other colonies as regards the proceedings of former congresses. Ihe Premier said he could not reduce the railway fares, but the Cabinet would consider the other suggesMoDs aud see whst else could be done to ni-rke tbe stay of the visitors from other colonies (.vho, of course, receive free passes) as plsnsaut as possible?.
