SUPPOSED INCENDIARISM.

An inqoicy has been opened into the circumstances attending the fire on board the ship Rslaria. Counsel for the Crown statsd that the steward of the vesuel went to bed with the door of hia cabin open, and whea the fire v/ 0,3 dißcovored the door was locked. The steward brcka open the' door and saw someone runniag away from the spot where first the .fire broke out. This spot could only bo approached through the lazarette, the key of which was kept by the second mate. The eviS&nco adducsd showed that suspicion rested upon the second mate certainJy ia connectica with thesecond fire, and probably the first also. Captain Allen gave evidence that fchs second mate and steward ware always snarling at one another. ; NEW SOUTH WALES ELECTIONS. Sydney, July 19.
