R. Blackwood applied to be allowed to surrender pastoral licenses over Runs 340,.340 a, 545, 245 a, 240b,- 245b, 245 c, 246 i), and-24, 'Mounl Pisa rims.—lt was decided to recommend the Governor to authorise the acceptance of surrender of licenses, the board being of opinion that it was impossible to work the runs at the presantrental without serious loss Iq the event of .surrender beiiij; agreed to, the board would recommeud a license beiag granted under -.ection2l9 of thaact at areduced rent. ; TAUXUIiU.—The Chief Surveyor wrote suggesting that section' 10, block IV. Tautuku district, be opened for.application.— Recommended to be set apart and declared open a-s a ■ village homestead allotment at a capital value of -_1. '.Crookston.—Mr F. M'Kenzie applied for a lease over wateiv reserve, section 26, block VIII, Crookstou district.—Declined. Rock and Pillar.—District-surveyor Calder wrote with regard .to tlie fenciug upon sections 13 to 21, block VI, and'section 50, block VII, Rock and Pillar district.—lt was resolved that Messrs O. Clarendon.—Mr John Welnowsky applied for section 27. block VI, Clarendon dintrict-niral lann ou the occupation with right to purchase system.—Approved ; valuation reduced to Blackstone.—Enoch Japson applied to surrender small grazing Run 225g, BUckstoce.—The lease of the run in questioK was forfeited far nonpayment of rent, and the ranger authorised to make valuation and recommend capital value. Stratii-Taieri.—Mr-Andrew Harvie applind to be allowed to pm-chase section 7, block V, StrathTaieri district, held by him under perpetual lease. —It was resolved that the Minister be recommended accordingly. Miscellaneous Applications.—The following applications were ■:—To exchanße perpetual lease for leas,e in perpetuity: John Murray, section 1, block XI, Dunback district. To complete purchase of deferred . payment sections: Itobsrt Richardson, section 4, block XII, Benger district; Mary Bayly, section 10, block VIII, Waihemo district. Tiger Hill.—An application by Francis Lee to transfer sections 40 to 43, block I, Tiger Hill district, held under lease in perpetuity, to Edward Lee, was approved. ' ■ -„ Silver Peak.—Frank Percy Stronach applied to bs allowed to transfer small grazing run, section 1, block VII, Silver Peak district, to John Pettigrew.—The application was approved.
