Messrs Thomas Paterson and Co., fruit and produce agents, Manse street, report for the week ending Juue 26 :— Fruit.—Market moderately supplied this week, prices generally being firmer. We land a large and choice shipment, ex Hauroto, of Hobart apples, also oranges, mandarins, piuts, and bananas. Prices are : —Hobart apples :F. C ,7s 6d to 8s tid; S.l\, Ss; S.Pm. and A.Pru., Sj 6:lto 9s tid ; S.T.P., 7s to Bs. Pears : Very scarce. Locally-grown apple*. 5s to 7s; pears, 5s to 10s. Oranges: D.E. Tahiti, 7s Cd; Island, 5s (id; Italian, 12s; Sydney, 'U Cd to 6s. Leruons: Italian, 255; Sydney,'7s (id. Bananas, lid to 2d. Peanuts, 3£d. Tomatoes : Hothouse, sd. Product.—Eggs srarce. Fresh butter wanted, prime salt, 7<l tn Stl: factory, Ud to lO'd; medium, CM to (iul B-.con, 51* to (id for prime roil. We can supply choice quality and get-up in any
