As the shippers of tha weii-known Gaelic or Old Smuggler Whisky, we have repeatedly had our attention drawn to the dishonest practice adopted by some dealers of refilling the Gaelic Whisky Bottles with cheap, inferior, and deleterious spirit, and palming this off as Gaelic Whisky. As thiß practice is most injurious to the trader who supplies genuine Gaelic, as well as to the reputation of our Brand, we have decided to take strong measures to protect our customers from such unfair and unscrupulous competition, and we hereby offer a R & WARD OF TEN POUNDS STERLING to any person giving such information as will lead to a conviction for this offence. Several convictions have already been obtained, and more are likely to follow. We desire to emphasise the fact that, in taking up this position, we are acting in the interest of all honest dealers in Gaelic Whisky as well as the consumers, and we trust to have the sympathy aud support of all such persons in carrying out our views.
